How do tiers work on the Credit Direct App?
Tier 0 to 1
When you sign up on the Credit Direct app; you are automatically a Tier 0 User. This means that you will not be able to perform any action on the app until you upgrade to Tier 1.
To upgrade from Tier 0 to Tier 1, simply add your Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN).
As a Tier 1 User, your daily transaction limit is ₦50,000. You can pay bills, buy airtime or data, and send money with this amount daily.
Tier 1 to Tier 2
To get a little more from the Credit Direct app, your next move is to upgrade to Tier 2.
Tier 2 Users have a ₦200,000 daily transfer limit. This gives you access to everything in Tier 1, including investing your money with Yield to earn up to 21% per annum.
To upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2, add a second means of identification (BVN or NIN).
Please note that you can upgrade directly from Tier 0 to Tier 2. All you need to do is add both your BVN and NIN details as stated above.
Tier 2 to Tier 3
Tier 3 is the ultimate level on the Credit Direct app. Unlock up to ₦5 million in daily transactions and enjoy full access to all features: send money, pay bills, invest with Yield, and buy airtime or data.
To upgrade from Tier 2 to Tier 3, upload the following:
- A valid means of ID (International Passport or Driver’s License)
- A recent utility bill as proof of address
How to upgrade your Tier on the Credit Direct App
1. Simply sign up or log in to your app. To sign up, click this link or search for “Credit Direct Mobile” on your app/play store.
2. Click “Account” from the bottom of your screen
