If you've been over-deducted, a refund will be processed within 72 hours after we receive the remittance from your employer. Employers typically remit payments within 2 weeks to 2 months after deductions.

WACS is a federal government-owned platform used to process loans for federal employees. Credit Direct partners with WACS to process and fulfill your loan requests. You don’t need to contact WACS directly—Credit Direct handles all necessary interactions ensuring a smooth and prompt process.

Are there any fees on WACS?

Yes. WACS charges processing fees for all loans facilitated through its platform and since all federal loans are processed through its platform, all federal employees will incur these charges as defined by WACS. These fees are not from Credit Direct but are mandated by WACS.

What should I do if I was disbursed a loan amount different from what I requested as a public sector employee?
