Credit Direct Business
Credit Direct Business is a financial management platform designed for SMEs.
We offer seamless transactions to meet business needs, and competitive interest rates on the balance in your business wallet.
• A registered business with available CAC details.
• Your National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
• Your contact details like email address and phone number
- Visit the Credit Direct Business website at business.creditdirect.ng, and click on the "Sign Up" button.
- Enter your business email (if you're the business owner), or your work email (if you're a financial administrator of the business).
- Enter your password.
- Confirm your password.
- Click on the “Next” button. A verification email will be sent to you.
- Open the email in your inbox and click on the button to verify your email:
a. This should direct you to the Credit Direct Business login page.
b. Sign in with the credentials you used when creating the account.
Following these steps, your Credit Direct Business account will be created. You will need to complete your business profile in order to start making transactions with your business account.
- Provide your NIN and validate your phone number using the OTP sent to you. Please make sure you have access to the phone number attached to the provided NIN.
- Provide BVN and validate your phone number via the OTP sent to you. Please make sure you have access to the phone number attached to the provided BVN.
- Provide the business details below:
a. Select your Business Type from the options provided
b. Select your Business registration type from the options provided
c. Select your Business sector from the options provided
d. Select your Business sector subcategory from the options provided (Optional)
e. Enter your business' Annual Turnover (Optional) - Provide your CAC number including the prefix (RC/BN/IT) e.g., RC12345, IT12345, BN12345.
Please make sure you have access to the number and/or email attached to the provided NIN.
a. An OTP will be sent to the email and phone number attached to this business from CAC. This OTP is sent for validation.
b. Businesses already onboarded to Credit Direct Business, from the back office, do not require OTP validation. - Confirm your CAC number.
- Create a Six (6) digit transaction PIN.
- Confirm your transaction PIN.
Following these steps, your Credit Direct Business profile will be updated. You will then be assigned a Credit Direct business account number with which you can send and receive money.
• You can receive funds.
• You can make single transfers.
• You can make bulk transfers at once.
- Navigate to Transfers from your Credit Direct Business dashboard.
- Enter the amount you want to send from your business account.
- Choose the originating wallet for the transfer
- Enter the recipient's account number
- Select the recipient's bank
- Enter the reason (narration) for payment
- Confirm the transaction with your transaction PIN and enter the OTP sent to you.
- Navigate to Transfers from the dashboard.
- Select Bulk transfer
- Enter the list of bank accounts you want to make the transfers to. You can either do this by uploading an Excel sheet with the list, or adding them manually in the space provided.
- If you want to add the list using an excel sheet, you can download the template we've created for you and fill in the account details of your intending transaction recipients.
- Save the updated excel sheet and upload the file to the platform.
- Review the details to ensure that the recipients' information is accurate.
- Name the list of recipients for the bulk transfer (Optional).
- Confirm the transaction with your transaction PIN and enter the OTP sent to you.
