What happens if I want to pay off my plan early?

You can pay off your plan before the agreed time without any penalties. However, you will have to pay off theinterest rate

Can I waybill a product if I buy it from a merchant who is not in my location?

Yes, you can, but please note that logistics are managed by the customer and the merchant. Credit Direct is not involved in the logistics process.

What Is the highest pre - approved limit for checkout?

Simply fill the short form above, and a member of our team will reach out to help you complete the onboarding process.

You can currently get up to 1,000,000 naira. This limit enables you to buy whatever you want and pay later.

When you successfully complete your registration process and get approved, you will be given a pre -

approved amount.

What do I need to provide to get a pre-approved limit?

To qualify for up to 1,000,000, here’s what you need:

• Your active bank account - determine how much you are eligible for.

• BVN - to verify your identity

• Bank registered phone number - to receive OTP to continue with the account verification.

• Employment information

• Active Email address: to use in receiving OTP to accept our loan agreement form

How do I repay my loan?

• You can repay using an ATM card that works for online payments, or by authorizing us to automatically debit your bank account.

• You can also repay your loan using our customer repayment portal

How do I place my order?

You can place your order directly through the merchant website, social media or by visiting the merchant’s physical store

Can I withdraw my pre-approve limit as a cash loan?

How much interest does Credit Direct charge?

Our interest rate is 7.5% monthly

What happens if my repayment fails on the due date?

We strongly recommend that you fund your repayment instrument. In cases where this fails, you can make use of the customer repayment portal to fulfil your obligations

Can I change my repayment date after the loan is approved?

Currently, repayment dates are fixed at the time of loan approval. Please contact customer support here Contact to explore any potential options

How will I be notified about my upcoming repayment?

We will send you reminders via SMS and/or email before your repayment date

What types of ATM cards are accepted for my repayments?

We accept all CBN -approved ATM cards that are enabled for online transactions

What if I don't have a bank account? Can I still use CDL Checkout?

No, an active bank account is required to use CDL Checkout

I'm self-employed, can I still apply for a loan?

Yes, both employed and self-employed individuals can apply, provided you meet the eligibility criteria

How do I update my information (e.g., phone number, email) after registration?

What factors affect my pre-approved limit?

Your pre-approved limit is determined by factors such as your credit history, bank account, transaction history, and overall financial profile

What if I am having issues with the OTP that is sent to my phone?

Double-check that you entered the correct phone number. If it’s correct, try clicking 'Resend OTP.' If the issue persists, choose the 'Phone Call' or 'USSD' option on your screen

How secure are my personal and financial information?

Who is a CDL Checkout Merchant?

A CDL Checkout Merchant is any registered business owner who sells goods and services through their e-commerce website, social media store, or physical store (via payment link).

What are the benefits of being a CDL Checkout Merchant?

CDL Checkout Merchants enjoy the following benefits:

What are the requirements to become a CDL Checkout Merchant?

• A registered business with a CAC certificate.

Do my customers need to create an account with CDL to access this loan?

No, the process is seamless, requiring only basic KYC and bank information during checkout.

What is Credit Check? How does this happen?

How do I use the API? What are the available integration channels?

You can integrate via CMS, Direct API, or SDK for mobile apps. We currently support WordPress and

Magneto for CMS integration.

What is the timeline for integration?

• Direct API: 3-5 days (depending on your resources).

• CMS (WordPress, Magento etc): Instant, less than 10 minutes.

• SDK: Varies depending on your application.

What data does CDL access from Financial Institutions?

With customer consent, we access BVN, phone number, credit report and bank statement details to

determine loan terms.

Can the checkout page be customized to reflect my brand?

Our branding is designed to be merchant-website friendly, eliminating the need for further customization.

Your logo will be prominently displayed. White labeling is also available, contact our support team for

further information.

Does CDL store card information?

No, all card transactions are handled by PCI DSS-compliant partners

How many payment installments are possible?

Currently, we offer six (6) payment installments

Does the Credit Check support all banks?

Yes, it supports all commercial banks

What happens if your third-party providers have downtime?

We use a smart-switching system to automatically switch to active providers. We also provide

downtime/uptime notifications

What technical support do you provide during and after integration?

What charges do my customers incur?

Standard bank statement spool fee (set by the customer’s bank) and account tokenization charge

What charges do I incur?

You incur no charges. You receive 100% of the product price.

How does settlement work? How do I know I've been paid?

We use instant settlement to credit your account upon customer down payment. Transaction and

settlement information is available on your merchant dashboard.

How do I track my CDL Checkout transactions and payments?

You will have access to a merchant dashboard where you can track all your transactions and settlements.

How quickly do I receive payment for CDL Checkout transactions?

Merchants receive payment immediately after the customer's loan is successful.

How do I get help if I encounter an error or issue?

You will be assigned a dedicated growth manager and added to a dedicated WhatsApp support group.

Who should I contact for questions about my funds and their status?

You can use your Merchant Portal for payment and settlement confirmation. Contact your dedicatedWhatsApp support group for pending transactions and your bank for bank account balance and settlementrelated issues.

What kind of marketing materials do you provide?

We provide marketing materials (banners, logos, promotional content). Your Growth Managers will supplythese.
